A few fruit trees (tamarind) have been planted on the sloping land NW of
the cottage. Two elder mango trees are seen in the background.

Natural vegetation - mostly ton muuk trees - are growing rapidly.
Dikes have been dug in order to make soil sedimentation.

The trees are leave-less in the dry season

Year 5:
The new vegetation is minimizing soil erosion.

The first rain has come but the rainy season has not really started yet.
Vegetation is getting dense and Suan Mali has got many shady places.
